NO: Dishware, drinking glasses, vases, ceramics, Pyrex®, mirrors, window glass, or light blubs.

NO: Aerosol cans, propane tanks, Hazardous materials, non-metal products (plastic, rubber and appliances.

To determine the type of plastic, look at the bottom of the container for a number inside
the triangle recycling symbol. Please rinse container and remove lids.
YES: #1 PETE Plastic containers - soda & water bottles.
Plastic Clear - Yes Plastic
To determine the type of plastic, look at the bottom of the container for a number inside
the triangle recycling symbol. Please rinse container and remove lids.
YES: Clear #2 HDPE Plastic containers - milk & juice jugs
Plastic Color - Yes Plastic
To determine the type of plastic, look at the bottom of the container for a number inside
the triangle recycling symbol. Please rinse container and remove lids.
YES: White or colored #2 HDPE Plastic containers - laundry detergent bottles.
Plastic Bags Plastic
To determine the type of plastic, look at the bottom of the container for a number inside
the triangle recycling symbol. Please rinse container and remove lids.
YES: Plastic bags - merchandise bags, dry-cleaning bags, air pillows, pallet wrap, shrink wrap and bubble wrap.
Plastic - No Plastic
To determine the type of plastic, look at the bottom of the container for a number inside
the triangle recycling symbol. Please rinse container and remove lids.
NO: Foam, rigid containers, paper, food, or liquids, polystyrene packaging, strapping, twine, or bags that contain food (salad/lettuce bags, pouches, and potato chip bags).
Mixed Paper Paper
YES: Mixed Paper - All paper that tears including magazines, newspapers, junk mail, phone books, paperboard (cereal boxes, etc.), white and colored paper, hard cover and paperback books and aseptic containers (juice, broth, and milk cartons).
Cardboard Paper
YES: Corrugated Cardboard - with wavy piece in the middle.
Paper - No Paper
NO: File folders, pizza or donut boxes, waxy or plasticized paperboard, napkins, facial tissue or toilet paper.
Clothing-YES-150x150 Textiles
YES: Clothing, shoes, and household linens. ITEMS MUST BE CLEAN, DRY, AND BAGGED.
NO stained textile-150x150 Textiles
NO: Soiled Textiles. No stained, wet, or soiled items are accepted. Think, "Would I give this to a friend?"

We do not accept the following items at the Recycling Center:

  • garbage
  • polystyrene (Styrofoam®)
  • plastics #3 – #7
  • unlabeled plastics
  • food waste or oil
  • food-contaminated paper
  • universal waste such as: electronic devices, computers, monitors, or TVs
  • hazardous waste such as: batteries, paint, motor oil, anti-freeze, or lightbulbs including fluorescent tubes or CFLs.
